I have used CMT on two projects so far.
The first project was to excavate dirt and build a 10x20 pad with compacted stone for a building. The work far exceeded my expectations! Both Leroy and his son Rylen worked on it that day. In addition to doing what I asked, they found an excellent use for the excavated dirt by spreading it into a low spot and overall matching the landscape grade of the existing lawn. It really came out amazing and when I told Leroy that he said: "Our philosophy is to look at every project as if it was on their own property and to complete it as how they would want it done." It's that mindset that leads to exceptional work. I was truly amazed at the result!
The second project was kind of an extension of the first. Because of the amazing job they did on the first project, it kind of opened my eyes to the possibility of extending my lawn area. One major hurdle to overcome was this type of sink hole area that needed to be filled with fill dirt to match the existing grade and then I wanted topsoil spread over the entire area to match the existing landscaping as prep work for another contractor to do hydro seeding. Rylen worked exclusively on this project. When it was completed I was blown away a 2nd time! Jokingly I asked Rylen, "Are you building a golf course for me?" It truly was that exceptional!
I plan to continue to use their services on other projects. Not only does their work exceed expectations, it is also done at a very fair price!

We have been lucky to meet the CMT team and to call them friends. We moved to a small town and had no one that we trusted to start our remodel. By luck we found Leroy, Dee and family, and our journey started. The first job was small kinda of like dipping your toes in a pool or going on a first date. The job came out great and it was a start of many more to come. As they were working in our house, we got to know and respect them as well as their honesty, workmanship and knowledge of their trade. We became good friends sharing birthdays, holidays and many special events.
In this day and age it is hard to find a company that is true to their word, cares about quality and craftsmanship and exceeds your expectations. I would recommend CMT to anyone. You will be more than glad you did.

My husband and I highly recommend CMT. Not only are they consummate professionals and skilled craftsmen, Leroy also has exquisite design sense and unfailing attention to detail. CMT added a carport, covered porch, and privacy fencing to our midcentury country home, significantly enhancing its curb appeal and functionality. The quality of the hand milled lumber he provided made a big difference in the finished look and durability of the additions. We also found Leroy able to collaborate effectively with us in the design process, assuring that we achieved the “look" we wanted for our home.

In summary, Leroy is a Master Craftsman, and he follows in the footsteps of two generations of church craftmanship builders. He uses many of the tools passed down by his ancestors, and he combines old skills with new ones.
We have known Leroy for about 20 years. He worked on three major projects; he remodeled our master bedroom, bathroom, and closets residence; he was the lead contractor in building a custom home in St Helena CA. He was active in renovating an old Victorian house in downtown Napa CA. He is particular in hiring reliable staff and sub-contractors who are masters in their field. His ethics are impeccable, a humble man. He takes both pride and joy in his work and finished product. He works well with others, and his team of builders both respect him and work well with him. His fees are very reasonable, and he is better than most in staying on schedule with the proposed timeline. He is honest, and a pleasure to work with. We continue to remember he and his Team daily, as we enjoy the beauty, they have brought to our home.
